Lieutenant Banke joined the Coast Guard in 2017. He is currently the Incident Management Division Chief for USCG Sector Boston. A prior Marine Corps officer, he previously served as an Officer Candidate School instructor, where he taught Coast Guard history, and at Sector Buffalo, NY.
